D&K HOMESOLUTIONS
Veterans housing

Stable housing for those who served.

Safe, affordable homes for veterans and service members — with help navigating the VA paperwork instead of being handed a form and a phone number.

A tidy single-story home with a small American flag mounted beside the front door on a covered porch.
Who it's for

You probably qualify.

If you're reading this and wondering whether you count — call. We would rather have the conversation than have you rule yourself out.

  • Veterans of any era, any discharge status — talk to us before assuming you don't qualify
  • Service members transitioning out and needing somewhere stable to land
  • Veterans facing eviction, foreclosure or the end of a lease
  • Veterans currently unhoused or staying somewhere temporary
What you get

What this program actually provides.

A real home, not a bunk
Private, furnished-ready housing in an ordinary neighborhood. Not a facility, not a shelter floor.
Help with the paperwork
We help you gather what's needed and coordinate with VA and community programs. You don't have to chase it alone.
Rent you can actually carry
Rent set against what you receive, not against the market. We'll be straight with you about the number before you commit.
Someone who picks up
A person you can reach after you move in — not a ticket queue.
How it works

Three steps. No runaround.

  1. Step 1: Call or send the form

Tell us your situation and your timeline. No DD-214 needed to start the conversation — we'll sort documents out later.

  2. Step 2: We look at what's open

We check current homes against what you need, and check which benefits or programs you may qualify for.

  3. Step 3: Walk it and move in

See the home, read a plain-language agreement, get the keys. We stay reachable afterward.

Questions

The things people ask us most.

Do I need an honorable discharge?

Talk to us regardless. Eligibility varies by program and some benefits are available with other discharge statuses. We would rather check than have you rule yourself out.

What if I don't have my DD-214?

That's fine to start. We can help you request a copy, and we won't hold up the conversation waiting for it.

Do you take pets or service animals?

Service animals are always welcome. For other pets, ask — it depends on the specific home.

Is there a cost to apply?

No. We never charge an application or placement fee.

Ready to talk it through?

Tell us your situation and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
